How this mirrored bedroom range started Out There Interiors.

The three drawer mirrored chest you see above called ‘Eleanor’ actually started our company. Our founding director loves mirrored bedroom furniture, and bought this chest a very long time ago from an online seller who charged her £400 for it. One fine day, she accidentally stumbled upon the supplier of her mirrored chest of drawers, and realised she had been severely ripped off! She promptly bought five of these mirrored chests, and sold them online over the following week. So began Out There Interiors.

The trials and tribulations of Eleanor and this mirrored bedroom range

This mirrored chest of drawers is always going to be popular. She features three very deep mirrored drawers perfect for chunky clothes, and due to her generous proportions has always been the backbone of our signature mirrored furniture range. Unfortunately for Eleanor though, the supplier began to cut corners. The chests having started out so promising began to deteriorate. Handles (which were originally glued onto the glass) began to snap off, drawers got stuck on cheap runners and the glass began to ‘fox’ around the edges. The lovely mirrored chest although endlessly popular was causing more problems than she was worth. Out There Interiors withdrew the mirrored chest from the market, but did miss the flurry of sales she brought in each week.

This mirrored bedroom range gets an upgrade!

After a year or so of growth we re-introduced Eleanor and the matching mirrored bedroom range. Our new Eleanor is manufactured in a superb factory with excellent quality control. The once glued-on handles are now screwed-in. The drawer runners have been upgraded to ball-bearing mechanisms and the chest is at least 20kgs heavier due to its new heavy wooden construction. The entire range of mirrored furniture in this range has been upgraded by our new factory, and is 100% exclusive to us.

In the above paragraphs I’ve focused on the three drawer mirrored chest of drawers ‘Eleanor’. There is of course further chests called ‘Misha’ and ‘Joanie’ available to purchase in this range. The observant amongst you may have noticed that we have used the same images to advertise both Duchess & Simone. We have introduced ‘Misha’ and ‘Joanie’ to the range above as they have proved so popular in the other range we thought it was worth offering these mirrored chests with both handles.

We think this mirrored bedroom range is popular due to the shape and size of the primary bedroom furniture. The mirrored chest ‘Eleanor’, and matching bedsides ‘Emma’ being suitable for many bedrooms. (The Emma’s are quite narrow mirrored bedside tables and are particularly good if you have limited space either side of your bed). The dressing table ‘Kelly’ is often favoured for its four individual legs (rather than the solid sides of many mirrored dressing tables).
