delivery info
...So what do you get for your money?
None of this answer your question? Here's some more delivery related questions....
How long do I have to wait for delivery?
Each product has a coloured traffic light symbol at the top of its page. Here's what it signifies: If your traffic light is GREEN your item is in stock and ready to go. Average delivery time is 7 working days. (Your delivery will be booked in via telephone). If your traffic light is AMBER your item is on its way to us. Lead times vary but it's usually between 1-6 weeks. It is always worth back ordering these items as our most popular ranges often sell out before they arrive. For our most up-to-date stock information find out the name of your product, then follow this link. If your traffic light is RED your item may have been discontinued or have a very long lead time. We don't recommend back-ordering red light items as we can't be specific about delivery dates.
What happens if I am not in on the delivery day?
Furniture purchases: Our delivery company will call you in advance of the delivery to arrange the day and time, so you don't have to worry about not being in. If they do not give you enough notice please make this known when they call and they will reschedule for you at no extra cost. (This will usually be the next week unless you are in a remote area).
Accessory purchases: If you're buying smaller items with a delivery charge of £9.95, then your delivery will be treated like your usual deliveries from Amazon etc. If you are not in when the courier arrives he/she will leave a card so you can arrange a redelivery, or collect from the local depot.
I’m worried about damage in transit
Don’t be. Providing you adhere to our policy there is nothing to worry about here. We have been selling mirrored furniture and other fragile items for many years and although damage does occur from time to time we have a clear procedure which works very well. Please click here for our transit damage policy. (This information is also emailed to you after purchase).
Will the drivers carry my item(s) up the stairs?
Our delivery service is to just in side the front door of your property. If you live on the top floor of a skyscraper then the drivers will get it up to you, so don't worry about this at all. Once inside your property though, we want to avoid delivery drivers accidentally damaging either your furniture or your possessions, and therefore we ask that you arrange this part of the process independently. As our drivers are helpful, friendly guys, they may feel obliged to do this for you if you ask them on the day, but we ask you respectfully not to do this. If a 'room of choice' arrangement has not been made in advance this will put the drivers under pressure with regards to their other deliveries, and its never a good idea to maneuver a fragile piece of furniture in a rush! Take your time once the drivers have left to consider how best to install the furniture. This almost always results in a better outcome. However, if you think you will have a great problem getting the furniture into the correct room give our office a tinkle and speak to someone before purchasing. There is always a solution.
