delivery infoYou only pay ONE delivery charge.No matter how many items you order you will only be charged once for delivery. The heaviest or highest value item is charged and any other pieces will be delivered free of charge. (The delivery cost is located in the top right hand corner of the product page). We know some companies offer free delivery, but if you add up our prices you will find that their carriage charge is always built into the cost of the product. If you are ordering multiple items our system benefits you enormously as you will not be charged an 'invisible' delivery cost on each item.
We deliver everything together.We deliver all your items together unless you pay a second delivery charge. If one of your item takes longer than the rest we will store the items safely until the consignment is ready. We understand that sometimes you want items delivered faster, but fragile furniture deliveries are tricky and expensive (your delivery fee only partially covers the cost) so we need to limit the amount of time spent on the road in order to keep our product costs competitive. Thank you for understanding.
We like to be upfront about delivery times.In the top right hand corner of every product page there is a coloured circle which displays the product's delivery timescale. Click 'more details' next to the circle for further information. If you require more specific times don't hesitate to give us a call or why not chat with us live ?
We deliver to Scotland, Ireland & International destinations.We deliver regularly to Scotland, Ireland and European destinations. Further information and pricing is available here. We can deliver to America, Australia, Asia etc but this doesn't happen very often as shipping is very expensive. Follow the link above for indicative pricing.
Occasionally... we can deliver next day.We can occasionally get things to you very quickly if we have the item in stock. Feel free to give us a call to discuss fast delivery options. Please note, there is always an extra charge for this service and our usual domestic delivery services (i.e. unpack and inspect) do not apply.
We unpack. You Inspect.With all our furniture deliveries (either one or two men) the items are unpacked for you on arrival so you can ensure the furniture has been delivered undamaged. You can even return items to us straight away should they not look as you expected. See our returns information for more details.
We schudelue all furniture deliveries by phone.All our furniture deliveries are booked in with you in advance via telephone. We deal with carefully selected small specialist carriers who typically deliver to each postcode area in the UK once a week (London is more frequent). Should you be unavailable on the day they suggest they will try and reschedule for you the following week. Early morning deliveries are sometimes possible should you be concerned about time off work and our delivery drivers can give you a call on route to let you know when they expect to arrive. Our carriers will always do their best to accomodate your needs.
Two man 'Room of choice' delivery available.At checkout you have the option to choose a two man delivery team for a small extra charge. The two man (or woman!) delivery team will unpack the furniture for you and install it in your room of choice. (Please note, furniture assembly is a separate service. The vast majority of our furniture is prebuilt and nothing is flat pack and fiddly. Some items require basic assembly so If you are concerned please give us a call in advance of delivery).
We can dispose of pesky packaging.We know only too well how difficult it can be to dispose of packaging. For a small charge our delivery staff will remove your unwanted packaging and recycle it. Please select this at checkout as it cannot be arranged on the day of delivery. Please note we can't accept a return without your packaging so please ensure you are happy with the furniture before letting it go. (If you do choose to keep hold of it any disposal charge you have paid will be refunded).
Assembly service available (but not usually needed).The vast majority of our furniture is prebuilt and nothing is flat pack and fiddly. Some items require basic assembly (description usually states this). If you are in any way concerned please give us a call in advance of delivery and we will advise you and if necessary quote you for assembly.
Small items are delivered by UK national carriers.Small items (delivery charges of under £20) are delivered via normal UK couriers - the ones who deliver for Amazon and Asos. Obviously these chaps don't unpack the goods and ask you to inspect them so we handle these deliveries in a familiar fashion. Please see our terms of sale if you are concerned about anything relating to an accessory delivery. It's all standard stuff.
