We know that buying furniture online can be a daunting business. That’s why we have a very easy returns policy and a showroom where you can come and sanity check our products before purchasing. But not everyone can get to the showroom, and sometimes you just want to get it right the first time round! We’d love to write a page about the quality of every single product, but there are just too many, so instead we have laid down some fundamentals which should ease your mind with regards to shopping online with us.
    
We believe that cheap furniture is a false economy.Not just for you the customer, but also for us as a business! If we supply you with a product that falls to pieces in a matter of months, you will no doubt contact us to complain. We don’t want this. We like to sell furniture not spend time fixing problems caused by shoddy products. These are our ethics, so you can rest assured we won’t supply you with low quality goods. Every single item goes through a quality inspection.Every piece of furniture we buy is inspected upon arrival in the warehouse. That’s every single piece. We will often reject a line of products from a particular manufacturer or supplier if we feel that the quality is not up to scratch or think it may cause problems down the line. We only sell products that we feel represent great value luxury. We tell it how it is. If you have questions just ask.We’re not in the habit of telling customers a piece of furniture is mahogany when it is in fact it is 90% MDF and 10% mahogany. We tell it how it is and are always honest about how a particular piece is made. We don’t buy unethical products and we don’t buy low-quality products. We have very high standards and as a result all our products look and feel lovely. We don't need to pull the wool over our customers' eyes to keep them happy. If you believe something else to be better quality, find out why.Retailers of luxury goods have had it very easy for a long time. It is true that design and exclusivity are worth money, but often the mark-ups on these products are utterly ridiculous. Here at Out There we price our products honestly. If you suspect that something you’ve seen elsewhere is of better quality and worth the extra dough, then find out why, and try not to be seduced by old-school sales tactics.
