Hand Beaten Saudi Arabian Metal Stool "Teyona"

Teyona is the newest addition to our chairs and stools category. She is an incredibly versatile item and one we have already stolen out of the warehouse for our own bedroom. The stool has been hand planished in Saudi Arabia.  (Planishing is a technique which involves finely shaping and smoothing sheet metal by hammering it against a shaped surface, check out our pic stolen from Wikipedia above). The best bit about this wonderful hand beaten stool is the intricate arabian stamp which is engraved on the top surface. It gives the stool a real sense of identity. Each metal stool will be unique due to the hand engraving, and the unique rustic characteristics created by the hand beaten metal. Teyona is a gorgeous ethnic item for all over the house, but also works brilliantly as a stylish bedside table where space is limited.
