Vintage Crystal Ball Light Fitting

We grabbed this wonderful little light fitting at the end of the day when browsing a French brocante. Just as we were about to walk home for a blackberry kir in the sun, we spotted this little beauty underneath a tressle table.  It's a spherical cut glass shade, with dark wooden fixture. The wires which extend from the fixture are earthed making it almost certainly safe to install in your home (but always consult an electricitan if you're not an expert). You can hang this fitting as shown, or you could fit it to a wall creativing an unusual feature. No matter what you do with it this enchanting crystal ball is sure to add instant vintage charm to your interior. We'll be sad to see it go!
